Welcome to our Fast Delivery application. This Privacy Policy describes in detail how Fast Delivery ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application, website, and related delivery and logistics services. Please read this policy carefully. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

1. Introduction and Scope

Fast Delivery provides delivery and logistics services connecting sellers, vendors, and customers. This policy applies to all users of our services, including but not limited to: registered sellers and their employees, vendors and delivery personnel, and any individual whose data we process in the course of providing our services.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in an open and transparent manner. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we may share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have in relation to your data. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in several ways: information you provide to us directly, information we obtain automatically when you use our app or services, and information we receive from third parties (such as other users or partners involved in a delivery).

  • Account Information: Name, username, phone number, password (encrypted), profile picture, business or trade name, and any other information you voluntarily provide in your profile or account settings.
  • Address Information: Delivery addresses including building name, floor number, street address, and location details or GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude) associated with your business or delivery operations.
  • Order Information: Order history, order items, sender and recipient names and phone numbers, package descriptions and dimensions, tracking numbers and status updates, pickup and delivery times and locations, payment details, delivery preferences, and the full history of communications related to each order.
  • Payment and Financial Data: Transaction history including amounts and dates; bank account or wallet information for payouts; tax or regulatory information where required; and records of disputes or compensation claims.
  • Device and Technical Data: Device type, model, and operating system; unique device identifiers; IP address and approximate location; app version and language settings; pages or screens viewed; crash reports and performance data; and, if you grant permission, precise location (e.g. GPS) for delivery tracking or locating nearby offices.
  • Communications and Support: Content of messages you send to us or exchange with other users in the context of orders; records of support tickets and complaints; and call recordings or transcripts if you contact us by phone and we inform you that calls may be recorded.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes, where permitted by applicable law.

Providing and operating our services: We use your data to create and manage your account; authenticate you and enforce our terms; process and track orders and shipments; facilitate payments and payouts; display tracking and order history; enable communication between sellers, vendors, and customers; send you transactional notifications; and provide customer and technical support.

Improving and developing our services: We analyze usage patterns and feedback to fix bugs, develop new features, optimize the user experience, and create aggregated or anonymized statistics that do not identify you personally.

Safety, security, and fraud prevention: We use your information to verify identity, detect and prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

Marketing (where permitted): With your consent where required, we may use your contact details to send you promotional messages or news about our services. You can opt out at any time. We do not use your data for third-party advertising in a way that identifies you without your consent.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (Where Applicable)

Where laws such as the GDPR or similar regulations apply, we process your personal data on the following bases: (a) Performance of a contract — to provide the services you have requested; (b) Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve our services, where our interests are not overridden by your rights; (c) Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws and government requests; (d) Consent — where we have asked for your consent (e.g. for marketing), you may withdraw it at any time.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Account data: We retain account and profile information for the duration of your account plus a period after closure as needed for legal, tax, or dispute resolution purposes.

Order and shipment data: We retain order and delivery records for a period necessary to support tracking, disputes, and legal or regulatory requirements (typically several years).

Payment and financial data: We retain transaction records as required by tax and financial regulations. Technical and usage data: We may retain logs and analytics for a limited period (e.g. 12–24 months) unless needed for security or legal purposes. After the retention period, we securely delete or anonymize your data.

6. Data Storage, Security, and International Transfers

Your data may be stored and processed on servers in the country where we operate or in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) to protect your data when transferred across borders.

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data: encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate; access controls and authentication (e.g. hashed passwords); regular security assessments; and staff training. Despite our efforts, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Other users and parties to a transaction: To complete a delivery, we may share relevant contact and address details with the seller, vendor, or delivery personnel involved in that order.
  • Service providers: We may share data with partners who perform services on our behalf (e.g. hosting, payment processing, analytics, support). These providers are contractually required to use your data only as instructed and to protect it appropriately.
  • Legal and regulatory: We may disclose your information when required by law or when necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or security issues.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy commitments.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our app and any associated web pages may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences (e.g. language), and understand how you use our services. You may be able to disable or limit some of these through your device or browser settings; note that doing so may affect the functionality of the app or website. We do not use these technologies for third-party advertising in a way that identifies you without your consent.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data (you can also update much of this in the app under Profile or account settings).
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements.
  • Restriction: Request that we restrict processing in certain circumstances.
  • Portability: Request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or to processing for direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent: Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in the "Contact Us" section. We will respond within the time frame required by applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will indicate the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. For material changes, we will provide notice through the app, by email where we have it, or by other appropriate means when required by law.

Your continued use of our services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
